I'll tell you from experience, jeeps are pieces of shit and you don't want one as a DD. They need to be trailered.

 

Not really happy with the way it stands up on the light bar. Trying to come up with a way to get it to sit flat on it.

 

If any of you are installing a stereo in the near future and have the stock aux-in plug, would you please see what wires connect to it at the HU harness? THX

maybe do some kind of bar mount/clamp ring, kind of like the ones that rigid sells. then make an "L" bracket to go on the side of the light and connect to the bar mount/clamp ring idea

Yes. Smart words son. For most situations, GREAT off-road vehicles but they are crappy built. Engine, drivetrain, interior, exterior ....... All crap

 

Hahaha what I was thinkin. Lol but I know what he's sayin. Take a pic of the mounting bracket. Like from the side where it actually bolts to the light. My first thought was just drill 2 new holes and lower the light bar down in the brackets.

 

Why not drill new holes in that shit!

Just thought of this: an "L" bracket from the led bar, then make a straight bracket to bolt to the light bar.... bolt the "L" bracket to the straight bracket.... make sense?

No need for the straight bracket. The nfab has holes for the light bar already

 

Got started today to a frozen rear end in my work truck. Would not move. Put it in 4x4 and drags the rear tires. Had to put my forced Heater on each hub. The e brake froze to the drum. Hour later it is free.

I saw your jeep comment and had to chime in and i'm extremely close to TN border, so there's that. I have 3 Toyota trucks and one wrangler and no way the jeep could be a dd to me a least when I have Toyotas for that. We pull the jeep out of the garage on sunny weekends with top and doors off 7 months out of a year to tool around locally, but I would never trust it on a road trip even though it has only 50k miles. Yotas definitely several notches above jeeps. But they are fun sometimes and people love em.
