    I too sold my TJ for a Tacoma. Bought it new off the lot and drove the snot out of it for 15 years, it saw a lot of off road. I miss it because the Tacoma will never be the wheeler it was, but I'm glad its gone too. The Tacoma is 100 times more comfortable.

    If all you need is a truck is for occasional use do what I did and buy a trailer. Mine is 5x8 with a loading ramp and even though I've owned many trucks I use the trailer for all my hauling needs. Its small enough that for the trips to the home store pretty much anything can tow it. It went to the dump several times behind my jeep. Heck, at one point I had a full size 1 ton dually pickup and still used the trailer for hauling. The other huge advantage is when you're not using it there is no maintenance, batteries to go dead, insurance, taxes or other expenses.

    Thought about that, but- I primarily need a truck bed for with cover for hunting, especially when there's a few of us going- not real excited about bows and stands being a trailer- especially if we eat after or it rains etc...

    Yeah, trailers are great for hauling, moving and going to the dump. I wouldn't want to take it off road and I've never seen one with a cover.
