Erin and I were in Ballard for an appointment for Dexter, our brindle pit, and when finished, we sat in the outside area at a restaurant and had some food and beer. While there, another lady showed up with her 2 dogs, and we talked to her. She rides the bus with both of her dogs throughout Seattle and hasn't been told no. As long as you have him in control, and he is behaved, it shouldn't be a problem. If that doesn't work, get a service dog vest for him and they can't legally tell you no.

You're welcome. Remember, the blow up sheep with edible undies is for home use, and the blow up 'girl' is only for use in your truck to be a passenger for HOV lane use. This does not include getting road head, or making use of the bed of your truck.

He is hating because even the blow up doll is turning him down.

As for Haus on the bus, all it would take is training him, and making sure the bus system isn't going to give you trouble. You can also try and call him a therapy dog and he is on his way to help comfort people in a hospital. Can't remember if I told you about it when you brought him over, but a great methods of control for him is a Gentle Leader. We use one for Enzo and Dexter. They hate it, but it gets results without hurting the dogs, results being dogs that walk nicely with us on a leash.

Gentle leads are great, but his problem isn't with pulling or things like that, he's very polite on leash but he's very protective of me and gets growly sometimes. Another thing too is he stays in my truckt work and can't come into the office so I wouldn't have anywhere to put him! Although it's a great idea I have to find some sort of daycare or something for him so ce he can't stay home alone for 14 hours at a time.

Find a local dog walker and work out to have the dog walker take him out daily while you are gone. BTW 14 hours away from home daily is a lot of time out. I did that before and I was ready for bed shortly after getting home everyday.

Has anyone done the BHLM with the retrofit? I have to buy 2 new headlights since the mounts on both of mine are broken. They work for now but they point straight to the ground and make driving home at night difficult, especially when it decides to rain. which is almost daily around here!

So my hope is that if I buy all the stuff someone could help me do this. Or I'm willing to send the stuff to someone who is willing to do it. It wont be till next month but it would be cool to start a list of everything I will need to buy to do it.

I've looked for pre-made ones on here or someone who is making them but I am having no luck. its something I've wanted to do I just haven't really had a reason to or the ability to have the down time without lights. but now since I need new new headlights it seems like a good excuse :)

I'm just too chicken to do it myself!

On my last car, I got a kit to go from factory halogen bulbs to HID projectors. I can honestly say that I won't do that again. My issue with it is that the projectors didn't put out as much light as I was expecting, and can actually be worse off. I did bake open those headlights though to do it.

I am happy with the factory head lights on my truck, but on the wife's Jetta, the factory lights weren't brifht enough, so I did an HID swap, no projectors on it, and that made a world of difference. I would offer to help you open a new set of headlights, but in a month I will be a bit toward busy with packing and moving.

this is true! I hope this works out, it sucks not being able to see at night lol especially when i drive to work in the dark and drive home in the dark.

they look awesome! I've been wanting to do this since I got the truck so I'm pretty excited to find someone who I can just buy them from. I know I will still have to buy the new headlights either way but at least they will look how I want.
