I didn't say it looks thin OR flimsy... That's "reading into", not "reading".

And being a guy who's done a bit of fab-work, starting with building single-axle utility trailers to 3-axle car-haulers with my father in my late teens - early 20's, to fixing the attachments for heavy equipment I operated in my late 20's - early 30's, to train repair for the AAR, to being part of the fabrication/assembly of multi-million dollar oilfield equipment...

I might know what I'm talking about.

From what I can see in your pics, it WILL eventually pull away from the frame & wreck your bumper-cover if used repeatedly...

You seem to be a very intelligent fellow, dont' listen to any of these guys about your winch mount being weak or using eye protection. As a matter of fact you need to get closer to the torch and drill bit, it's actually safer;)

Yes, again you are correct yours is exactly the same as theirs.

Pretty damn close. Only difference is two gussetts under the tubes. I'm sure you have seen mine in person well enough to tell though so you are probably right

Its already been said at least once, maybe even twice, people are giving you constructive criticism. We've all had some sort of experience.

Just because your blatantly ripping off some companies work doesn't mean its right. In fact your in the wrong for attesting to the fact that it's as strong as another companies when in fact you have no idea.

Granted it's a great start, but 1/4 ain't shit unless its gusseted and supported properly.

We just don't wanna see you crash and burn.

I actually do appreciate crunstructive criticism when I can find a use for It, I just can't see where I could add gussetts that would help it out that much. Can yall show me where you all think they need to be added? Also I don't think it is quite the same as ripping off someone's work.

Some idiot pulled out in front of me so his insurance paid for the repairs and gave me money to fix my winch mount. Dropped it off at the neighbors and he beefed up the mount some in the repairs. Added gussets and boxed in some of it.

Ok so for all of y'all who were questioning the strength of the mount I finally have a handful of stressed pulls without fail. Pulled myself just about vertical on a tree, pulled a stuck wrangler on 37's out that had its back wheels buried, and pulled myself up the top half of dickie bell at Uwharrie for those of you who are familiar with Uwharrie.

You did... When you wouldn't take the advise of myself & quite a few others.

But it seems an MVA has conveniently damaged your mount to the point of needing repairs & subsequent reinforcement...
