OME complete kit w/ 885s on Nitrocharger Sports, 1/4" spacers, Dakars w/ Nitrocharger Sports, LR UCAs, 265/70-17, Duratracs, G4 Elite tonneau, Weathertech Window Deflectors, Weathertech digital floor liners, factory JBL/Entune, rear differential breather relocate.
I didn't use shims, just the CB drop kit. I had vibrations before the lift which seem to have been cured by installing my lift.

    Awesome. Thanks Oz

looks like ill be going with these as a replacement. letting them settle after a month or so, then goin with the Icons for the front so I know what to set them at.

Ill hopefully be getting my warrantied OME coils soon, so they will get me by until I can snag the Icons.

Ok I have read thru a majority of this so, OME 886 up front, OME shocks all around, complete Dakar kit, extended brake lines, New UCA (Still can't decide which ones I would need...?), Top plate spacer.

This will be an overland...I mean a moderate trail rig that will go to remote hunting & camping grounds. I can't afford to break it so it probably won't be pushed to the max but I would like to be able to get of sticky situations. Daily commute is 7 miles each way on surface street stop and go traffic. Hoping to move to Northern Colorado soon.

    Two questions
    1) What benefit would a ubolt flip kit provide? I will have either a cap or bed rack with a CVT on it and camping gear to stay for several days/weeks in the back country. I ABSOLUTELY hate it when the ass is lower than the front even when loaded. I don't tow or haul but some fire wood and gear for 1-2 week stay gets heavy. I would rather it lean forward a bit when unloaded and be flat or still leaning forward when loaded.
Should I go with something other than the OME rear shocks that toytec has?

    2) If I run stock SR5 wheels (16") with 285 75R16 BFG MT KM2, would 1.25" spidertrax wheels spacers benefit me? Should I do all 4? I kinda like the look of the wheels out a bit but too far looks stupid. Would these help cut down on any rubbing? Would I still have to do that cab mount chop/trim people talk about. Is that tire size gonna be too big?

I want to do as little cutting/trimming as possible until I get front & rear bumpers.

Sorry if this was covered before. I have been reading for months and I swear every time I think I have it down somebody says something and throws everything off. So, I have come to the OME thread to cut down on being told to buy a different lift.

Thanks for helping a newb and if anyone has links throw em up I would love to read other set ups.

886 because I will put an ARB bumper and winch on in the future when wallet recovers.
Spacer because idk... I have heard that some people end up with a side lean after putting a lift on. Don't some people use the top plate space to fix that???

    Please excuse my newbness :D

for his future bumper and taco lean I would think..

OP, if this is correct, your gonna have a pretty stiff ride up front until you get the bumpers.

    EDIT: see your post..

Seeing the third gen section forced me to get a Ford...
that's usually resolved w/ the trim packer, not the top plate spacer.

The trim packer alleviates the taco lean. Ditch the spacers.

    Edit: late as usual :)

Wheelers sent me a "trim packer" to deal with the taco lean, the top spacer will get him a little more lift out of it all after extra weight has been added

Ok cool, and the kit from toytec comes with that. And of course at the bottom it says "OME trim spacer for a level front."

right? i mean.. i would have noticed i would think when installing them if there was something noticeably off.. like a shorter coil or something. lol

hopefully after these new coils get put in.. ill be good to go. then ill do the trim packer.. but will be doing the top plates as well still for a full 3"

    Right on.

About the rubbing issues, with 285 75 16 on stock SR5 wheels, would the spidertrax 1.25" spacers help? I want to trim as little as possible and I do like the look of tires set slightly wide.

pretty sure they are NEEDED when using stock wheels. someone correct me if im wrong.. regardless, you'll most likely need to do some trimming. we all have.

I have read a lot about people putting in that ECGS bearing. Sorry I am mechanically:D retarded but slowly picking things up. Would one recommend putting the ECGS bearing in when I do the lift and avoid the problem all together? That is assuming I would get the vibes once lifted. Or should I wait to see if I do get the vibes?
