Seriously, does the 2014 Tacoma NOT have heated external mirrors? I can't believe that. Mine will be here in a week and I assumed heated mirrors would be standard. Please tell me they have heated mirrors.

Considering that most other Toyota's have them.

I thought the Canadian model had them?

I'm surprised by a lot of features that that Taco doesn't/can't come with. Heated Mirrors being the biggest one.

I guess when you're selling trucks without it, it's not a major issue to add it.

That's why the Tacoma needs competition. Looking forward to what the Chevy Colorado/GMC Canyon has to offer and the next gen Honda Ridgeline too.

Yeah, there are a lot of guys that don't care about either of those vehicles, but I hope it lights a fire under Toyota's ass. They've become complacent, in my opinion. There are a lot of shortcomings that people are willing to accept, simply because it's a Tacoma, but honestly, for what we pay for the damn thing, it is a tough pill to swallow.

Not having heat mirrors is a pain. I have to run my defrosters all the time when someone is in the truck or the mirrors and windows fog up. To me it's a safety issue that Toyota needs to fix. Might be different in warmer climates, but we need them in colder area's.

Not to be a smart ass, but how to your mirrors fog when someone is in the truck with you?

If I were able to get hot and heavy enough in my taco to fog my outside mirrors I would be in porn

    Just sayin

I wanted to say that when my windows fog up, my mirrors are next. but when someone is in the truck with me there windows also fog up. It's like an indicator, If the windows fog up the mirrors will be next. I can turn on the defrosters to fix the windows, but I can't fix the mirrors, big time safety issues. Your right they have nothing to do with the windows.

I have had other vehicles that did not have heated mirrors, but they had a little vent that your defrosters blew into to heat them up, this would stop them from fogging up.
