WeatherTechs with manual trans

Was searching for weathertechs for my truck and came across a place selling them that stated they do not fit manual transmission trucks. Does it just take some cutting to make them fit or do they make a specific type for manual transmissions? Seems like a downside to them to pay that much for them then have to cut it.

Also noticed the back is all one piece for the access cab, I have a sub box in the back between the two jump seats from subthump.com. Would it be easier to buy these

Suggestions on which color would look better as well, black or grey?

 

any suggestions on a place to pick them up at a reasonable price would be appreciated as well. saw a thread mentioning tapautos, typed weathertech in the search bar and nothing came up. Also tried Amazon for front and rear it comes to a total of $202.90 without shipping. Weathertech has them for $179.90 (tried to click checkout to see what shipping would add to total, says error occurred on the page.)

 

I had the ones you cut to fit and liners custom fit in my mt, for the liners you will have to trim one piece around the clutch, like about 2-3" sq there the clutch bottoms out to the floor. The cut to fit did ok, but once I had to opportunity to buy the liners I did so and liked the fit an finish better, along with the protection. You can try the one piece, but I didn't have the rear piece in my access cab. And get black, Greys and tans get marked up and look dingy after a few thousand miles.

Mine fit my manual just fine. I went with black FYI.

 

try truckaddons.com. I had to cut mine to keep the clutch from hanging on it but they work great after that.

 

Same here i cut mine little but you can not tell at all.

 

I bought Weathertechs and just had to trim it a little bit to clear the clutch pedal. Easiest mod ever.

Yep, had to trim mine a little. And a second small adjustment first time they cold soaked in the truck at sub zero temps because they stiffened up in the extreme cold. No problems since, 3 yrs plus now. I got black and no complaints.

 

No problems for a manual trans...clutch goes to the floor, mat stays in place.

 

Mine fit no problems with the clutch, in fact I kinda wish they went up behind the clutch a little higher.

 

Bought weathertechs from Chas/TAP autoparts for 2011 DCSB 6 spd...... Had to cut out small square to clear the clutch pedal at full extension. simple to do... install mat, depress clutch, mark the floor mat, remove mat and cut out notch for clutch pedal, re-install and check clearance. Weathertechs definitely worth the money and the modification. TAP autoparts is excellent to deal with - great price and quick delivery time

 

bought mine off of ebay from weathertech. in black. haven't had to cut them, clutch seems to clear just fine. best investment i've put into my taco

 

Cabela's won't ship to Germany, pm sent to the TAP rep waiting on a reply to see how much they would be shipped. Saw the ones on ebay $197.90 front and rear without shipping. So I'll see what TAP rep says.

 

askwed weathertech.com for a military discount and with the military discount it would be $170.91 with free shipping. That's if they ship to APO AE. So that's the cheapest quote I've found so far for front and rear.

 

I trimmed the WeatherTech floor mat so the clutch peddle and arm would not bind/catch. Simple and easy fix.

Yes mine required some trim no big deal. If you dont trim clutch will hang up on it when pushed down not a good thing.
