Alright, well to post onto TW, just select the IMG code on photobucket and paste it into your post. no need to do anything else, no IMG tags to select on TW or anything, it does it for you :)

did you move the photo's into a new folder once you uploaded? If you move them into a new folder or rename the folder all the old links become invalid.

I've recently picked up a quad and am looking for some trail suggestions. In particular I'm looking for a nice trail for two of us to go riding together for a while, then maybe stop and have a picnic. Nothing crazy, just a decent ride with nice scenery. I know it's winter, but we're not exactly having 'winter' so far this year so I figure I might as well take advantage of the good weather. Thanks!

I always enjoyed riding on Peavine while I lived there. I lived in RedRock so I could just ride from my house. I think the Redrock and Border Town sides of Peavine are much better than the Reno side, but they are also shade side for the winter, so some access may be a bit limited.

Cool, thanks. I know where Border Town is, but not Redrock. I only know Peavine from a distance and have never actually been up on it. Where would be a good trailhead that I could leave my truck/trailer? Thanks!

Red Rock is between Stead and Cold Springs, and after Cold Springs is Border Town. If you get off at the Red Rock exit, take a left under the overpass, then a right. That will turn to dirt and follow along side the highway. At the top of the highest hill you drive over, there is a left across some railroad tracks. You can unload right there and head up. A lot of cool spots on that side of Peavine.

Right on! I see Red Rock and exactly where you're talking about on the map now. Thanks a lot!

That is one thing I love about living in Reno is all the trails and riding area we have within 5 minutes. Any direction you go is awesome. Out toward Pyramid on Winnemucca Ranch road is moon rocks that has any type of riding you want. Also, you can leave from hidden valley and ride towards, or to Virginia City. Great riding and great scenery. Peavine is awesome, and keep going to dog valley toward Boca and Stampede. There are a couple lookouts, Verdi Fire lookout, and Sardine lookout that are an awesome ride, but might want to wait for the snow to clear a bit, although this winter has been mild.

Hope to see you out there,
    Tom

Really wish I could! Truck is kinda down for the next couple weeks and I have to do a bunch of bullshit that I don't wanna do, haha. Maybe in a few weeks when the truck is back online. Love your truck by the way!
