Well i Got my M1 Mesh from HomerTaco Last week and decided I should get to it.. So i spent a few days in the garage after work doing the satoshi Grill..
I had a chrome grill originaly which had been plastidiped, so all that had to come off as well, so i could do a color match. I seperated the inner piece of the grill with a heat gun, which made the painting of the grill easier and the fabrication process easier to do as well..

The gaps on the top of the insert were fiberglassed and trimmed, then filled with home made ABS filler which I made from the ABS dust i accumulated during sanding and small pieces from cutting. The ABS was tossed into a mixture of Acetone and MEK. Once it dissolves it pretty much turns into the best Plastic Glue/filler material. It just turns right back into part of the Insert... I did use glazing putty to fill in small inperfections.
so heres a bunch of Pics...

Also started a new rear bumper which is now being put on hold :frusty:

    temporary_zpsdeee37d2_3ff8e5d494bc1be18520639237bf239f83d75271.jpg

Also will be making new cross bars for the rack out of some 1" overkill tubing that i have laying around so as long as the roof holds out it should hold a decent amont ... but i only plan to stuff a 30" single row light bar under the first crossbar and maybe use them to carry my tube doors and or shovel/axe etc. will post pics once theyre made

My mom and I got my dad one for Xmas. They actually keep ice a really long time. We went to our deer lease for 4 days and didn't have to re-fill it. Even when mkst of the ice is melted, they say not to drain the water as it will still keep your food and drinks cold. It works great! Hope nobody steals that one out of the back of the truck in the post above!

Planning on doing my first round of tire rotations later this afternoon using a new hi-lift with a slider adapter to lift my beefy BAMF sliders -I can't fathom dropping cash to have someone else do my rotations, unless you have a bad back or don't want to get your hands dirty, this task is not rocket science lol

Operating a hi-lift for the first time  so please wish me luck that I don't kill my noobish self

    Look at build!

Yea i love mine! its stays locked to the bed and locked shut as well as tied down, mines the 75q so i deffinatly don't want it to come up missing! My only complaint on the yetis even down to the 35q's is their weight, if it stays in the bed all the time like mine then no issue but to try and carry it any distance is ridiculous! ill also say i believe the smaller they are the longer they'll keep ice as its less mass to keep cool consistently but as mentioned above even when its pure water after about 4-5 days in mine during the summer here in SC the water remains cold for about the same amount of time.. and the seals on them are excellent as well, sometimes i have to open the drain cause the lids stuck shut so tight...

As for the roof rack, its simple. (well not so much with a sunroof

    remove headliner
lay rack completely assembled onto roof
    Square it up
    measure
    measure again
    and one more time...
    ok maybe another
    then mark your holes
    drill
silicone the bottom of the rack and bolts
bolt it down and silicone the inside of the roof
    put headliner back in.

With the sunroof i had to modify the cross bars which weakened them so that's the reasoning behind me making new ones from steel. All i really plan to carry on them is my tube doors anyhow

We got the size right below the one you have so it would be usable inside our trucks. They sure are heavy. When you pick it up, it feels like a normal Igloo cooler full....but that's not a factor to even mention when talking about the performance of the cooler. Heck, they are bear proof!

Mine is hardly carriable (is that a word ) with two people, has to weigh around 100# it weighs probably 30 empty and I throw 40# of ice in it then however many drinks and whatever else... I wouldn't be surprised if it weighed closer to 125# loaded up but I love it! I have a 55 too and will probably get a 35 to ride shotgun for small weekend rides, I use the big one for fishing.. ive had 3 cases, 2 10# cats and a few 2-3#ers all in there at once plus some other random stuff.. have to look for that pic but it gets loaded down!

Ill probably try the pelican ones out for the smaller in cab one ill get
