    Hi Tyler,

I'm very interested in a front bumper. I've been doing my research and was wondering if you can post a picture of how the bumper mounts. More specifically how it ties back into the frame.

    Thanks,

You can actually see it well on the pictures on the top of the page (post 2369). It mounts on the 6 factory bolts and then you see the little gusseted L-shape bracket behind the cross member, it also bolts thru the cross member into that bracket which mounts to the bottom of the frame where thew sway bar ties in at. Total of 4 bolts/studs per side.

There are the two outside bolts on both sides. There are also 2 similar bolts (1 on each side) inside the bumper. Finally, there is the support that is in the above picture. You can see the support brackets that come with the bumper. It is the piece that the sway bar is bolted into. That also has a bolt that runs to the bumper.

It is very stout. I have been pulled out of, pulled people out of, and hit a bunch of stuff without issue. The bumper did excellent!

I added a couple of shims and got about 1/4" on each side. Better than it was. I got a bigger gap but the center of the bumper was too close to the panels under the lights. It is pretty even all around. Pic is not very good

Run it and see how it does, mine is that close on one side, since it was the prototype it is not perfect. It touches from time to time but never bothers anything.
The first couple runs of bumpers pulled up a touch on the wings until we modified the jigs so there is a chance that you have a very early version that has a little tilt on the wings. The good part is you don't have any hoops so you can pull them down a little with a heavy duty ratchet strap placed under a 4X4 that you drive up onto. a chain binder or turnbuckle setup will work as well.

Thanks for that info. I heard that a member used a ratchet strap to pull the wings down. May give it a try. Does look better now. When I get a which I'll have to do it again

Since Bryant was nice enough to post up the reviews in the vendor review section I would like for anyone with our products to chime in with their experience with their product and customer service. Please let us know what you like, what you would like to see improved etc. If there is any way we can improve we would love to know.
    Thanks for the support.

I'm just curious when you're actually going to become an official vendor on the form:D

In good time I am sure, I am happy that they allow me to operate on here like I do without being an official vendor so whenever the time is right is great with me.
I am sure they want to be sure companies are legit etc before adding them to the official list.
