Are those OME bushings? Are they poly or rubber?

    Bone stock. For now.
Got a bit of work done yesterday before it started raining. I removed the old chipped up pin striping with a 3M Pin Stripe Removal Wheel. Worked like a charm!

Then I installed the Wheeler's 1.5" AAL, along with some Bilstein 5100's. I was concerned that it would ride a lot rougher, but I have noticed the exact opposite! I guess my old shocks were more worn out than I originally thought! As far as the height, I am pretty surprised at how much higher it sits. I'm sure it will settle some over the next couple weeks, but as it sits now, I am considering moving the front struts (adjustable Bilstein 5100's) from 1.25" where it sits now, up to 2.5".

    Thank you sir!

The big reason I'm thinking about going a bit higher in the front is, now that I've put new wheels on with lower offset, they rub the bumper plastic when turning and going over bumps simultaneously. Although I guess I could just trim the plastic...

That is the rubber bushing that is pressed into the Main eye of the Dakars. OME uses factory Toyota bushings on the main eye. When you buy Dakars those are already pressed into the main eyes.

The spring is slightly different for the early trucks like yours. But yeah, lots of hard miles on those.

Kinda hard to see but this is a pic from when my Dakars were brand new next to my stock springs. You can see the sleeved bushing pressed into the main eye.

Put on bushwackers and a new throttle position sensor. I wanted to do my front brakes, but 3rd gen 4runner rotors are bigger than tacoma rotors.
