Doug, no matter what they have been telling you, size DOES matter!

 

Tyler, is there any way when ordering to do a little custom tweaking so that the wings line up a little better with the flares? Or do the pictures make them look like they stick out more than they do?

They are about 1/2"-3/4" wider than the flares to protect them. Is that what you mean?

 

Not exactly…If you can see in the picture, the corner of the end of the wing goes past the fender flare corner by a little bit. I understand the bumper sticking out parallel to the bedside, but could you build it so the corner does not stick out like that?

Or maybe you can't have one without the other, and I'm being stupid.

I believe that is just the picture, a straight side view would show it better.

 

Ok, thank you Tyler. Would you mind doing a photo dump of any installed pictures of your H/C bumpers? I just have a hard time finding pictures of these things installed.

I dont have pics handy at the moment but you can see the side view pic in the hi-clearance thread. I have very few pictures of customer rigs at the moment.

That is just the picture, I don't have a straight side shot of the bumper handy either, but it doesn't stick out past the flare to the inside of the wheel well. It does stick out a bit past the fender flare but as mentioned that is added protection! Overall install of the bumper went smooth and it is certianly well built!

Tyler, I can take some better photos and send them to you for the website if you'd like. I will have the swing gate on by the weekend.
