Whoops! Yeah I was looking up some places you mentioned... Should have cleared the search bar before the screen shot.

 

Tonga vs Johnson Ridge vs Highway loop trail, I'm leaning towards Tonga or Johnson Ridge, unless someone wants to sway me with cool pics from Highway loop.

 

Beckler Rd. up to Jack's Pass is a good run, used to go shooting up there until the Sheriff showed up one day and kicked us out. I also went up Green Mtn. Rd. (NF-41) just before Christmas, it's off of Mtn. Loop maybe 10 miles out of Granite Falls, nice little side trip to take if you go that way. After my Rugged Fails got me stuck in a tiny ditch up there I think I will have to sit out the snow runs until I get my lift and new tires on.

old cascade highway to the iron goat trail would be fun except for some road side cliffs, and deep ditches.

Hmm that might be fun. Im up in Monroe so not far from me. I might venture out there when my trucks in better condition!

 

Tuesdays through Fridays are the more open days for me. I have several years of off roading experience with my Jeep. Trying to find some easy trails to gauge any mods for my Tacoma.

 

That kind of flexibility is cool. I'll keep you posted on my availability.

Anybody else work weekends and have weekdays off?

 

Right now, I'm just not working. Leaves me free to pack up the house over the next 2 weeks.

 

Sorry I'm out this weekend. I haven't been out 4wheeling for months and then my grandpa picks this week to kick the bucket. I can go next weekend or the weekend after if people want to delay. If not then have fun without me! I will be busy this weekend with the family.

I know I'm still kinda new here but are there any 2nd Gen suspension experts in the Kitsap area that want to help me diagnose a post lift clunking/creaking noise?

I'm at a complete loss.

Looks like I'll just cruise over to Tahuya ORV to try the Taco out tomorrow, if you want to take a break from packing.....

It's your top plate spacer. Mine does it too. In fact it's a nasty creak now. Going to get some tubes later and fix it.

 

Moving to Spokane in 2 weeks.

Tahuya is a 2+ hour drive each way for me plus all the damage after the last trip that was suffered, I don't want to see anything happen to my truck. I need her to be fully functional as I will be needing reliable transportation for work regardless of the weather, as well as to pick up hay and other things for the horse.

 

Think so? How are you planning on fixing it? What do you mean by tubes?

 

No worries. I saw the carnage, yellow jacket and the rock gardens are known to bite. Mud lake, well, yeah....

 

Inner tubes. Cut them down and put them between all the metal.

 

Post up if you are planning to play in the snow Sunday. If no one else is going to go up I will not be going. I have friends heading to another location that I will go with.

Let me know if your interested or not, so I can adjust my plans.

 

Pretty positive I'll be going camping tomorrow. So I'm out for the snow on Sunday.
