Yeah, that's why I'm still looking. There was a member near me who had a Silver one for sale for 900 on here. He wasn't getting any bites so I was gonna wait another day and shoot him an offer, but he sold it.:facepalm:

I just finished up changing the oil. Recently hit 45K miles. I used Mobil 1 5w-30 with a WIX oil filter.

I had that issue as well (not to felt but the cold with LEDs not sticking anyways. Got some "weather stripe adhesive" and used it as a sort of glue and it has worked great. It is a lot less temperature sensitive. Was like 6 bucks and i found it in the automotive area at fred meyers. Can be messy since it has a large hole for dispensing but i went slow and it worked just fine. I applied it last time it was ~25 degrees out and it stuck and has stayed in place

Yeah. I just ordered a new one that's plastic. Hopefully it holds up better. Since there's been so much salt this winter, that metal one took a beating.

I drove it for the first time in about two weeks. I've been off work with torn calf ligaments.

Ever think about spraying it with some clear coat? The Rustoleum stuff? Or did you do that and it still got beat up?

No. Honestly I didn't even think about the salt affecting it. This was the first winter I had it on. If you were to do that, I'd imagine you'd have to remove all the double sided tape too to get it fully covered. I should of took a pic. It was like raised and bubbled under the chrome finish. Not just like a rust on steal with chrome. Not sure what type of metal it was. It was cheap, so I guess it is what it is. Hence why I'm going with plastic now.
