    Hey all,
I'm looking at doing a projector retrofit to my fog lights on a 2nd gen. Looking at using the matchbox projectors from TRS. Can't find any write ups on this, saw one post where a member sawed his fog lights in half and re glued them together....might have been done with the older blazer projectors?

So I guess my questions are...
1.Has anyone done this or attempted it? And how'd it go?
2.Can you bake the fogs apart similar to the headlights? Or is sawing them the only way?

I'd really like to open them up, paint the bowls, and get the mini Gatling shrouds in there nice a neat

I too have searched and found nothing certain re. anyone having retrofitted with the matchboxes. I'm certain the projector would protrude from the rear of the oem foglight housing and thus that may cause issues:confused:
I like the idea of blacking out the fog housings and thus was considering this retrofit.
The matchbox seems to be the preferred option per TRS for this mod.

    Anyone?

This sounds cool, but I feel like it would look odd in the 2nd gen fog light housing.. have to see pics

I can't answer #1, and this may not apply to #2 because it was on my 2012. But one of my fog lights consistently fogged up so I took it out and saw it wasn't sealed very well from the factory and the reflector was starting to turn yellow. So I baked them and took them apart to clean the reflector and resealed them.
