I bought some of those BlitzPro lights too. I'll be getting them put on during the meet and greet/mod day as well. I still need to get some wire. Anyone know a good place I can get some? A physical location?

If you got a Fry's Electronics near you, they usually have decent prices on wire

Are new tie rods something we could do at this mod day? I'm at the shop now and tried to have an alignment done and they said they can't do it because my tie rods are loose and it would be pointless until those are replaced..

I'm willing to help out with electrical stuff or anything else I can if someone helps me replace an inner tie rod :)

    Haha, crickets. :p
Looks like most folks are doing headlights and grills, so the tie rods would be the most intensive, but there should be a lot of people there to help, so it should be fine! I will be backpacking in Lassen , sorry I won't be able to help

Well I'm procrastinating so I did some research. I looked at my FSM and it looked like a pain in the freakin' ass, so I searched on here real quick. Looks a lot easier for you Tacoma owners! Of course, now that I look at my FSM again, it doesn't look so bad. Who knows.
    Here's a how-to thread: http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/suspension/239369-tie-rod-replacement.html#post5695436
Here's a video for a first gen, but it looks similar on second gens :notsure: http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/technical-chat/308600-tie-rod-replacement.html#post7922202

Definitely looks doable for you guys, might need to rent a puller if no one else has one, but I suspect someone does. :p
    Ok, back to hw...

Going to be passing through Sac on my way back to Vallejo from picking up my 4Runner, anyone mind if a 4Runner swings through to say whats up? My buddy and I are both mechanically inclined and can help! Would love to meet some of you guys.
