Ahh... that makes enough sense! In all honesty though that's why I like to maintain a "stock"ish rake on my lift. So when it loads it doesn't raise up too high.

After warranting an led ballast a third time, the distributor is in talks with the manufacturer about wtf are wrong with these not lasting more then a couple weeks. The truck in question went back to the reliability of halogen. a 2008 f250 lariat.

Also interesting to note, they emitted enough dirty noise that it would actually trip the fogs relay causing the fogs to come on with headlights no matter what they were set to.

The problem was that it's a Ford. Lol if you want to fix the problem, change the truck. Problem solved ;)

Ok im in…. Just ordered mine today. I really hated the look of the stock headlights with my Duallys! Now I need to figure out how to make my running lights switch work with both low, and high beams.

Glare....glare everywhere...if I'm gonna spend that much on two bulbs...I might as well save up a bit and do a retrofit...wait...that's what I did. But, to each his own. :drunk:

These don't glare one bit... they honestly look factory. I haven't been flashed once, the lows aim just slightly lower than stock, but better light output and spread. I love retros, just hate doing them. The output and clarity you get at a basic plug and play with LEDs is amazing. And I dont have to rip apart my housings, re-aim, recheck 100 times.

Performance Value versus time and effort and more dollar amount, its still a deal, and worth the money.

Oh, I totally get where you're coming from. That's why I had H4 single beam HIDs in my reflector housings with glare shields. Intense light without doing a retrofit. Then I saved up, had a free weekend and went for it. But I ran HIDs in the stock headlight housings since I got my truck in 2011...I did my retrofit a few weekends ago.

I saw some old videos about LED technology as headlights and was super skeptical. Seems like they are treating you well.
