I'm all the time waving at tacomas that have any little personal touch to them. Lift, lights, hell even a bull bar. Anyone that has something added to theirs almost always gets a wave from me. People probably think i'm nuts.

You don't "lose all ground clearance" - the 4r I saw last week with the 6" lift on 35's had more clearance than me with a 3+" suspension lift and 32's. Can't say I would run one, but that truck is wheeled real hard and the lift holds up to it just fine.

I wasn't thinking about the 6" lift because of the issues with burning through I think it's the bearings? Something about the angle I'll have go look it up again the 4.5 actually I think is the highest you can go without issues. Someone correct me if I'm wrong. Also why would you lose ground clearance with a higher lift?

I heard tht 3" is the highest u could go. and ive seen a lot of 6" lifts and they require a lot more parts that hang really low reducing your ground clearance.

I know with the 4.5 it makes the angle level really. There's a thread on here just for 4.5 lifts I'm trying to find it again. I think it's the Cv Joints that wear out quicker with the 6" lift

Also I took apart my bumper to look closer at the truck from the wall the other day, the plastic bumper is broke, the metal support to the splash guard got moved and the cross member on the very front has a small dent and scratch. All in all the truck seems to be completely fine minus cosmetic.

The black bar directly under the wiring there. It seems to only be a brace for the splash guard and kind of pointless to me but what ever.

DB is a drop bracket lift...I think it would be a horrible idea and it would just make your truck look stupid. But that is just my opinion. I never really have like DB lifts
