where are you looking at welding classes at, did you try MTC? I took a bunch of classes there when I was in high school. Masonry 1, Auto Body Repair 1 & 2, HVAC 1. Then I took the electrical class after I graduated, was going to take plumbing to and follow in my dad's footsteps, but I joinged the Army.

UPDATE ON THE CAR SHOW AT JMU

IT'S LOOKING TO BE 11AM ON SATURDAY, APRIL 5TH AT THE CONVOCATION CENTER PARKING LOT AT JAMES MADISON UNIVERSITY, HARRISONBURG, VA.

Madison Motorsport's president just posted this
At the meeting we just had, tons of vendors have been confirmed, and a big offroad presence is expected. We're also expecting some exotics, maybe even a McLaren MP4-12c.

Also, an articulation ramp will probably be there and a dyno. We're also working on getting a ton of offroad vendors to give away from goodies too. Looking to be a huge turnout. Tons of regular car stuff too, Crutchfield, Advance Auto, tons of racing shops, the Harley Dealership, BMW groups, a Porsche Group, etc.

Hopefully some of you guys can make it down and meetup here and we can all go wheel afterwards or something!

I'll have to talk to Ryan and see whether he wants to post a thread or me to get this ball rolling for a meet down here. It's looking to be pretty sweet!

ill probably stop by at the least, my truck is boring so i wont enter the actual show haha. im trying to think of vendors. I know matt got SBC to go out to the steven toyota meet a few months ago. maybe a mobile detailer? i feel like that would do well at a car show.

We've got SBC, then probably demellos, allpro, then a least of like 20 or so car vendors. Trying to stay local.

Madison Motorsports (the group I'm in doing the car show) is an official club of JMU that was started about 10 years ago.

It's 100% run by us students, budget and all, though.

if any of the offroad vendors are handing out decals at the car show can someone grab me some and mail them to me? I'll paypal you $ for mailing fees. Trying to start a sticker collection in the lid of my toolbox.

finally got my Wet Okole situation figured out (they wanted $50 to ship to APO so I gave them an address offpost and it's only $20) went with RealTree AP fronts only. Clamshell bushing and redline hood struts came in the mail yesterday. Just ordered seat heater kit and MOLLE seat-back covers from Blue Ridge Overland Gear. Have to wait to install the hood struts and clamshell bushing ones the package my dad mailed me comes. it contains a rivet gun for the struts, the race and driver set to install the clamshell bushing, pop & lock for the tail gate, and brighter reverse light bulbs.
