The truck in the photo is a 2013. My buddy has a 2009. My friend said his neighbors called the cops on him friday afternoon, after the photo came out online. I guess on thursday when a couple of incidents occured, my buddy was installing solar panels in san rafael and the customer was called by cops to verify he was there all day and didn't leave till 6pm. So, he is off the hook.

Why mess with a good thing? My car was notorious for having "bad brakes". In essence the issue was that the pads were too small. So I went for some very expensive brakes (I ended up changing the whole brake system) and I tell you, if I had the choice to just get larger pads than to change the whole system I would have. Granted, the car stops on a dime, those things are so noisy every body turns their head. And it's not a squeak, it's the winding down of the rotor/pads when I slow to a stop.

Doesn't help that I got track brakes. :(

I appreciate the input. The dealer said i was getting close a while back and i mentioned that i was unsure if i was going to go another route with the brakes, and thats when he said they offer a "premium pad". So i am unsure how much better those may be.

Went to the 4WP truck show with Baoser and BayAreaRunner. Got a SMOKIN deal on some new kings, but I'm not sure that they fit. Thoughts?

So I went to the truck show too.

    It was mostly "Bro-my-God!" trucks.

I was with Jeep people. But I insisted on parking near my people.

No love for my people either...

There were a couple of yotas...

Some people could run the world off of their rigs.

There were vendors. All manner of accessories, lights, and suspension.

Fifty Five Grand for this baby...something tells me I'm in the wrong business cause the add on list was twenty grand.

This truck was tastefully done. I liked it. It's for sale.

This thing brings new meaning to 'bro-my-god!'...

    Some modifications leave you wondering...

And some things make you say "WTF?"...

Had a great time and a couple of beers. I came looking for a deal on tires but didn't find it. Oh well.

Its a nice lil spot, no lines, just god beer, artsy layout. We had the big table in front of the fireplace by the door.

i already bought replacement irotors.com cross drilled and slotted rotors and ceramic pads. don't need them yet but they have worked on every car I own. Much better braking.

Anyone have a set of 1st gen double cab running boards or side steps that they are looking to get rid of? My neighbor is looking for a set so I told him I'd ask around.

I did'nt see that one Ian but I guess I was thinking in the regional forum (It's probably the forum I visit most often). Maybe day trip places, new brewerys, etc. I could start one if anyone thinks it's of any value? I've never been an op before so I suppose I'm hesitant for some strange reason
