Hey guys I'm ready to pull trigger on full OME kit with rear Dakars and NO top plate spacers. Would I be fine running rear Dakars without top plate spacers in front more specifically give me a huge rake??? Exactly how many inches of lift will the Dakars alone give me in the rear?
I decided to go OME over Icons in the front. This whole kit w/dakars is as much as just Icons front coil overs alone hope i don't regret it. Thanks for response

I got 2 1/2" of front lift with 885's and 2 1/2" of rear lift with my Dakars on my DCLB , so essentially factory rake

Exactly what I wanted to hear...thanks bud! Don't want top plate without UCA even though some say I may be fine. Im only running 265/75/16 Duratracs so I don't need a full 3" lift. How do you like your ride? you think OME can take abuse?

You'll break just about everything else on the truck before break an OME leaf or coil. The design is simple and no frills because that's what lasts the longest.

I like the stiffer ride, and when I have substantial weight in the bed the trucks still handles and responds.

The full OME kit w/Dakars rides much stiffer the factory TRD offroad?

^troof. It rides like a truck. Other factors that will effect ride include amount of armor, weight in the bed (cap, jobox), coil selection, whether or not you delete the sway bar.

I drive on alot of concrete highways and sometimes it can be jarring, like the rear end just bounces up and down until I hit asphault so maybe the OME will not solve that problem being stiffer. Only one way to tell :D

If it rides too harsh you'll just have to armor up! That's a win-win in my book.

I've got a 2014 double cab TRD offroad. I plan on doing an OME 3" lift with 885 coils, spacers and 90000 shocks in the front. For the rear I'm going to do the Dakar leafs and bilstein 5160's. Also of course I'm going to do LR upper control arms.

The goal is to clear 285/70-17 KM2's and have some articulation/travel. It also has to sit level. Will I have to mess with the Dakars to be level? Or should I just do the TSB aal and save money.

Barely ever, I do have a bass boat I tow very randomly, but it doesn't squat hardly at all with that hitched up.

In your case you could go to a less firm riding leaf pack then if you are just trying to add height

I figured since the OME shocks in the kit are on back order I would do the bilsteins. Also from what I've read in this thread the rear shocks limit droop and people are putting 5100's on the rear. I figured 5160's would be even better.
