... I should keep my mouth shut, but the forecast is high of 42F here today. Supposed to be similar for the next week. This is about the strangest Winter I've seen in a while. :notsure:

We made it there once. Did a lot of our shopping locally in the Mildenhall/Lakenheath and surrounding areas. There were antique sales organized on base from time to time. Most of what we bought wasn't really considered "antique" by British standards, but dated back to 1890s thru 1940s ... I guess they'd consider it refinished old furniture. We didn't have a lot of furniture when we PCS'd to England. After a couple trips to the BX run furniture store, we realized for not much more money than what they wanted for lesser quality new furniture, we could buy old refinished stuff made out of solid wood that was 50 to 100 years old and would probably be around for another 50 to 100 years.

I better stop there before WBO petitions to have my man card suspended.

And of course ... :woot: for skirts! :D

I have to laugh when you see a furniture ad and they say real wood andyou know it's Manufactured "wood"......Love some of the old furniture and the craftsmanship put into the building of it:thumbsup:

Hey Cheech...heater???59*. Hows it going over there in HI:D

Yeah, didn't know what I was thinking. Just thought it would be neat to see how the damn thing actually worked...HI weather is so boring.

Everything with me is going great, can't say the same for our local government though. The same ole crooks get voted in every election, so things don't change. One good thing, we probably have the most Tacomas per capita than most other states. Everyday driving down the road is like a Tacoma convoy.

    Hi folks,

I have a thread here about picking a good set of stepper bars that would help with getting in and out the truck, more than protecting it, or looking good.

The young uns on the 2nd Gen sub-forum do not seem very interested in the question, so I am a asking the "mature" crowd here, heh.
And yes, I too am over 60, by a hair (or two!).

    Suggestions, please!

    Thanks, captchas and Mike.
I never saw the factory steps, so I may take a look.

Color: Plain-jane standard issue gray base model.
Tentative name is "Grey Gull" or "Blue Heron".
The other family car is an Odyssey, in the nice Honda dark red, named "Ruby"!
