we could do like the online submissions - video it and send it in to whoever. but that brings up another question of who? I'm a level 1, but i have the sneaking suspicion there are others on here with more koala-fications for it.

    bragging rights?

the only thing is you couldn't call it tw cf games/xfit or any other crossfit based nomenclature due to the licensing agreements and lack of affiliation.

well now you're on to something. haha. there's a program similar to cf called seal fit - which was founded by navy seals and focuses on much harder/longer wods as well as "leadership" and "mental toughness". i was talking to some people about it over the past few days and ... well. the greater consensus is that they are just trying to capitalize on both what cf has done/made fitness and the "operator as fuck" aspect. see for yourself and form your own opinion.... http://www.sealfit.com/hp/

I puked a lot doing seal fit. Go balls to the wall and those workouts will eventually break you. Worked wonders for me in afghanistan though.

Im a level 1 and did the judges test finishing my excersise science degree, nasm and issa CPT certs right now, qualification shuldnt matter i think i worded it wrong in my origonal post but like said above cant call it xfit cuz affiliation forgott about tha. Lets see if this makes more sense. i was realy meant it more along the lines of saying we shuld all get a list of our names on here or even make a new thread and keep a list of all our scores and see who wins the "tacoma world" region during the open yeah? Think were onto something now! Haha

Yep. If you go balls to the walls with metcons five days a week, your body will definitely break.

The seal fit stuff will do the same, just at a faster pace. Some of those things are loooooong.

Didn't even need to see it to be let down. Dave Castro is getting lazier every year with his "programming".

    Bone stock. For now.
I evidently had the reps per round wrong on this one, haha!! I was thinking 30 reps per round for some reason. So 9 rounds would've put me at 270. I finished at 252 this morning. I think I'll have another go on Sunday.

Yeah, he's something like a bad ass. Just in phenomenal shape. But he trains with a bad ass crew at NorCal.

I am down with us keeping track of our TW CrossFit Open scores. In fact, I'm going to start a new Thread on here titled 2014 CrossFit Open Scores!

Do you go to an affiliate? Or have you ever attempted anything CrossFit related?

it all takes practice. i'm working with several of our peeps to get their double unders. there's a lot more to DUs than you'd think - length of rope, rope weight, etc. as for the snatch, start with the pvc pipe and work on form.
