    CBs are great for group runs. The uniden 520 is bulletproof. just plain works and works well, I have one too. Slick install Adam!

    Just a ton of fishing. At least 4 days on the platte starting at the southern border and following it up. Then it looks like Ill just be coming out towards riverton, then up towards cody/powell, then sheridan, then down to casper and then home.

    Width wise yeah; however you will have to cut the rear plastic out to allow the CB to slide back. I also purchased a 90 degree coax connector and used it at the rear of the CB to allow it slide back even further. I have it secured with a "system" of zip ties.

    I used another 90 on the outside and a CBi mount.

    Ha, I have a friend that says his Dodge could go farther off road. I challenged him to that and he said as long as he can fit on the road he would come out with me. Then I told him I went down Shoshone and he backed out. Now he just wants to race :laugh:.

    On the 1st gen, the Ubiden 520 pro will slide right in where the the ash tray was. It is a snug fit, no trimming required. Snug enough where you do not have to bolt it in at all. Perfect fit.
