2014 4.0 Taco engine making a clicking noise

    My 2014 Tacoma with 1630 miles on just started making a clicking noise it wasn't making a few days ago. I don't drive my truck that often, the wife drives it more and she brought the noise to my attention. It sounds like my Subaru WRX STI does when it's cold, but that car is another beast completely compared to my what should be reliable Toyota lol.

    Any comments/thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Tell me I'm stupid and that I shouldn't worry about it :)

    Ha. All properly engineered engines sound like that. My KTM motorcycle sounds the same way...

    Yep, normal. A mixture of cam chain and valve noise.
