    My thoughts are tolerance seems idk off u might say on the rears
    Granted its a harbor freight measuring device
    I guess if greaseable u want a slight variation
    I think all cams should be #8's
    But i will climb under and measure mine tomm

    Hmmm.... looks like a good way to do it, but I'm no metallurgist.

    Not so sure someone won't disagree with applying heat to the weakest point of the LCA that is known to fail :notsure:

    All I know is I know nothing about applying heat to metal so I only do it if 100% necessary because the results could be bad.

    Someone with brains chime in to this.... Those bushing seats are already a known failure point. Will heat hurt them?

    I don't know about the heat, but I'd be careful about making sure the bushing has a safe escape. I managed to use a shop press on them (very sketchy setup, not recommended), and when the bushing came out, it felt like a gun going off.

    The two that I was able to get out using the press didn't need heat.

    Apply pressure and then give the bushing seat a few wacks with a hammer until it pops then keep doing the same thing until it's out.. pressure, hammer. that way it doesn't explode in your face :eek:
