I got the sheet metal tacked on under the headlights and grill today. Hopefully I get the front piece down to the skid plate on tomorrow.

Any one know the typical measurements (LxW) for the front cable slot on a winch bumper.

Relentless Armored! Too many others to list.
the winch drum is typically about 8" wide and the mount pattern is 10" spread, so around 8 1/2" x 1 1/2" high works pretty well

Anyone know of anybody printing carbon fiber bumpers yet? I know that some of the bigger universities have 3d printers and carbon fiber is the new deal in printing!

EDIT: just for shits and giggles since I posted a picture of the back of my truck on the FB TW page with my plate fully visible, I went ahead and googled my tag and tried every combo I could to find info. guess what I came up with.......NOTHING. I know I was as surprised as all of you.

I ordered a TAG bumper, the customer service was less than reasonable and the quality of the bumper is poor to say the least. It took two more months than they said it would for it to be done and no instructions came with the bumper. The paint started wearing off with in the first few months and rust started building up in the shackle areas with in weeks. Cheapest bumper I could find, it looks good but the paint quality, lack of instructions, rust issues, and poor customer service made me not recommend this product or business to friends family and Tacoma owners.

So still no solid answer. Just makes me laugh. But hey, whatever helps to give you that false sense of security.

Anyone know why Buckstop isn't here (maybe I missed it)? I've had one on the Dodge 3500 for several years now and love the product. It's killed 3 deer at highway speeds and shows no sign of wear and tear!

Well, I suppose it is, but they're hardly alone in that price range.

Great thread! But now I have a problem. I was in a fender-bender last weekend, and need to replace my bumper. But which one? Decisions, decisions. I like the looks of a lot of these.

I have an Aries brush guard on my truck now. I wish I could get one of these cool steel bumpers, but incorporate the upper part of my brush guard into it....and still be able to afford it.

Find the bumper you like the most, and see if either they can modify it, or take it to a local welder with your idea. It's gonna cost though. And don't ask Body Armor to make mods. I got a very quick "We do not modify" response.

I actually bought the Body Armor bumpers just to modify them myself. Great starting point for the price.
