Umm weren't those stock lowers?

 

No. It was a 3.5" over kit.

 

So after some street driving and taking the new Icon Suspension off road all I can say is I am extremely pleased.

Street driving it is just way smoother than the stock set up. Still stiff around corners. Just enjoy the overall ride much more.

Off road is where it is at! It seems as if the faster I go the better the suspension. Don't get me wrong it is great at slower speeds. did some undulations and rocks with no problem. But when we would drive the fire roads with speed and hit all the wash outs and bumps it was just really plush!

Also noticed the ABS wasn't activating as much due to much better traction

you don't remove your abs fuse? I can't stand that shit

 

Make a switch. Super easy and less of a hassle to have to stop before hitting the dirt/snow

 

I know I need to. Just haven't gotten around to it. we should do a mod day so someone can show me how to do all this simple shit

 

I just did it, Jared. Generally easy, but as Adrian can attest to, you really have to make sure a clip connects with the wire under the dash. And you may have to solder... Buying all that stuff cost me under $50 to do the mod.

$50 whoa! No need to solder. T tap will work just fine. Just have to cut out little section of wire then put the t tap. Shouldn't be more than $15 I have leftover wire and bought connections from harbor freight. And I used my old rear lights switch for the ABS switch.

 

word.... I am not too bad with electrical work, its usually pretty easy, I just never looked into what I need to do. Those t taps are awesome... super easy to use.

 

Was a little confusing at first, but it's simple if you think about it. My build page has the link and page 6 of my pics is some of the connections you need. Worth not opening the hood everytime you offroad or starts raining.

 

Id like to just don't know how.

 

My build page has everything you need to know. Page 6 of my pics shows the connectors you need plus the link has some. I recommend a bigger switch like the one I used. The switch he uses is small and the prongs are so small. Won't find connectors that small.

I think when you're about to check out you can tell them you want the switch to say "ABS kill switch" but that works too.
