    Slow going Ken. The dryer stopped working and I had to fix it today. During the fixing process the vent flexible elbow broke so I had to stop at Lowes for a replacement. Sears had a replacement heater element so $68.66 later I had the element. The dryer was fixed by 06:00 tonight and I had a 7:00 meeting for our cities Green Expo. Tomorrow is another day. ;)

    I has a static strap or two! ;)

    I once saw a demonstration, in a Stromberg Carlson DBX 1200 technical class, of the surface of a chip on a card. The instructor had the chip under a microscope and the surface was smooth. Then he put a strap on and touched the chip and the surface was smooth. Next he took off the strap, touched a ground source, to discharge himself then touched the chip. It looks like the surface of the moon after that. Really drove home the point of using a static strap.

    What year/model is your Tacoma? I had the recall paperwork for seatbelts on my 2007 Access Cab laying on the counter and my wife remarked that it seems a lot of recalls to her. Actually just the BS gas pedal thing, the spiral cable in the steering column, and now the seat belt thing. Mentioned to her guys were having even more serious issues with the the Gen 3s. Sorry the driveline vibe is still being a thorn in your side. :(

    I thought the same thing. :laugh: I never have understood the craze over super big rims with super low profile tires. I just don't get it. :notsure: That's a sweet big ole Chevy though. :)

    Told them to stick the pedal/mat recall and so far they've left it alone. Did have the spiral cable done last year. Haven't messed with the seat belt one yet.
