I'm in the process of completing my entire lighting install, and have run across two questions.

    1:
All of the lights that I will end up adding will require 5 switches, however I have a thing for even numbers so I will end up using 6 switches. This eliminates the possibility of using the factor blanks. I use my sunglasses compartment for, shocker, my sunglasses, so putting switches there is a no go. Does anyone have suggestions/pictures of how to cleanly install six switches?

    2:
I have two pairs of LED lights in the mail right now. They will be perfect for my needs, so please don't tell me I should have spent 4 times the money for Rigids. My only concern is that I am not sure if the lights will come with relays. In the event that I need to order relays for the lights, how do I decide on which relays to order? I am not planning on any sort of special wiring (coming on with high-beams, reverse lights, etc). Just adding a fuse block, and wired to the above mentioned switches.

I thought this was a good solution for switches: http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/2nd-gen-tacomas/161664-extra-toggle-switches-us.html

Another member on here posted a picture of the same type of switches drilled into his aftermarket radio dash kit. Can't find that one.

Most auto parts stores have generic light wiring kits with relays included. I have bought relays from these guys in the past: http://www.parts-express.com/cat/12v-relays-sockets/399

Not sure if there may be a vendor on here that does security/stereo stuff, they would have them as well. Or a local car audio shop. You want a 30amp Bosch type relay. If they don't know what that is, you are talking to the wrong guy.

Unless you're really set on designing your own wiring harness, an SPOD is probably the way to go. It comes with relays and carling switches/mounts. I'm not exactly sure what the specs are, but I'm fairly sure it will meet all your needs and more.

I recommend using a relay and fuse on any and all aftermarket electronics.
