Best riding leaf packs 3-4 inches

Hey fellas, need some advice here. I'm installing Camburg Spindles with Eibach Springs and 5100's set at 0. Which leaf pack should I get? I'll need a minimum of 3" so that I'm not so nose high...but don't wanna a crappy ride. Blocks are outta the question.

Dakars will get you approx 2.75. All-Pro Expeditions may get you a bit higher depending on load weights, etc.

Yeah I know all that bud, I'm just wanting some input from the dudes running those specific leafs or an idea for a custom pack I don't know about.

I would go with the expos. I currently have them and no complaints at all.

 

I heard they ride real stiff when not loaded. I'll be running extended 5100s in the rear, not a resi shock

 

I don't think they run stiff at all. I ran the allpro stds before these and not much difference , atleast to me. It also helps to run a good tire. I run the toyo at II e rated tired and very happy with the ride and I also run the bilstein extended 5100's.

I plan to go with Dakars when I get back home. Figure if OZ can rave about them for this long, they must be good (at least after taking care of the squeaking).

What about making a call to Alcan and having them build you a set? You give them your desired height and preload and they'll make em just for you.

Not near as bad. About $600 shipped. That's what Specalt did to go with his RCD 4.5" lift in the front. He had them build them for 300# of preload (he has a shell with carpet kit, tire up top, etc.) but I can't remember what lift height he ordered. Anyways, $600 shipped to his door.

 

They do come recommended by lots of folks on here.

 

You could easily gain that wanted additional height with some ATO shackle flips and longer shackles, more down travel too.

I got ALL PRO Expos about a month ago and love them. They are 3.75 in the rear with my bumper and shit in the back, but should be perfect when I got the trailer on it.
