    Yes
Don't mean to be rude just want to make sure anyone considering a DB kit doesn't get any incorrect info. That is the exact same cut that all DB kits require to provide clearance for the front drive shaft when the front diff is lowered. It is not any less cutting in my experiences ? I can't speak to the FabTech kit but the ProComp kit actually uses more bolts than that to secure to the cross member.

It is actually very easy to reverse a DB cut even if you did not save the piece you cut out. You can cut the entire cross member out and replace it with much stronger piece of steel tubing. Anyone that has cut into our frames knows what I am talking about...they cut like butter :/

I just noticed what someone else mentioned too - no stabilizer / support bars going back to the transmission cross member ? Let's debate that one ... Definite plus for ground clearance and looks but strength ?

Any pictures of what the front DB crossmember looks like on the truck ?

Okay thanks, is there only one size to put in there? Or how would I know what size spacer I would need? And what about the cost of it?

I have the Fabtech kit, and my entire cross member is cut out, and capped off. Whereas the BDS pictured only has a few inches cut out for the front shaft. I can't speak for the Pro Comp kit, or any other DB kit.

The lack of stabilizer bars is a definite plus for skids and preventing hang ups....looks like BDS has those tabs on the stock cross member to assist in stabilizing the bracket from horizontal force like the stabilizer bars do.

Yota is the man to answer that and even the lift manufacturer that you are going with should be able to.

Also...This kit requires some welding as well...had to weld tabs to the steering stop to make it functional with the new spindle...also had to grind down ends on the sway bar to fit, there is a very beefy brace the bolts to both the front and rear crossmember and connects the 2 together...it also sits right under the diff to help protect it

Yeah I appreciate it though, I was looking for the exact 285/75/16 though. Your 17s are bigger than the 16s when it comes to overall tire size w/ 285s.
Trying to see how it would look w/ 6" on exactly what I have.
    Thanks matt!

edit*: Okay, so apparently I don't know what i'm talking about (http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/tirecalc.php?tires=285-75r16-285-70r17)
    haha, thanks for the pictures!
