    Nope I've looked everywhere. Your options are the Off Road 16s, the silver steel 16s, or the black "spare" steelies in 16 (Tacoma spares).
    I think the FJ 17" steelies are similarly specced but 7.5" wide - don't quote me on that one.

    Many have powder coated the Off Road 16s, which I think looks pretty good.

    these 'expedition' and 'overland' builds/threads make me laugh. it's not like the 1600's when you could explore and find new stuff by blazing a trail.

    Seems like they just want to make up names for stuff to explain how they will waste money on bolt on shit they will never use.

    What air pressure are you guys running...? The shop set mine up at 37psi. I feel them a bit bouncy. Any recommendations, I have a front ARB no winch yet no armor. would 34psi be too low...?

    I like 35 ish for typically driving, though I have been running 50 psi, but it rides rough. From always knocking my alignment out I have a lot of center tread left with some worn edges so I run it at 50 psi to help wear the centers down some.

    On the trail I run 20 psi. I am so heavy that I start eating rim if I go lower. If I am making short drives I will just drive around town with it still at 20 psi (it rides so smooth! haha) but usually only during the colder months. I don't recommend doing that when its hot in the summer. You'll start separating the plys from too much heat and ruin the tires.

    I finally got my 255/85 Cooper ST's off the 16x8 Method wheels and onto a set of first gen 16x7 factory alloy wheels. The tires look better on the narrower rim width and NO RUBBING!

    With this finally resolved I jumped on the East Coast Gear Supply Group Buy and ordered 4.56 gears and lockers for both axles. If you want to regear NOW IS THE TIME. 20% off on Nitro ring & Pinion as well as install kits with the best bearings, and ARB Lockers too if you like.

    Some lift, some armor, some scratches..
    I'm about to pull the trigger on a set of KM2s, but I am curious what the better wheel is for me to mount them on. They will likely not be my DD tires, but more-so a dedicated offroader/fun tire.

    2nd gen TRD OR alloys (what I currently run w/ 265/75 TW Wardens)
    16x7 5.25" BS

    OR

    1st gen TRD Alloys
    16x7 4.5"BS

    OR

    2nd Gen steelies
    16x7 BS ??

    I also run Spidertrax 1.25 spacers and love the look they give so would like to keep them on. Any insight into theses set-ups? thanks!!!

    This thread has me thoroughly confused on if I can fit Cooper S/T Maxx in 255/85r16s. At the beginning it is stated that a 2 1\2"+ lift is needed, but by the end of the thread they can be fit on a stock suspension as long as stock 7" wide rims are used with pics as proof. Which is it? My setup is this:

    1- 2008 dcsb with stock rims, not sure of the width (six rounded spoke wheels, aluminum I think)
    2- 5100s set at 1.75 in the front & 5100s with the leaf tsb at the rear
    3- Spidertrax at all 4 corners & mud flaps deleted
    4- All flat land in NOLA. The curb or deep ruts are the highest obstacles here.

    Will they fit? Massive rubbing? Suggestions? I want the extra height, but not at the expense of ripping off the fender flares.

    The "best" wheel is the one you like the most that puts the tire where you want it. Ideally without using the Spidertrax adapters. I know many people use them with no problems, but it's just one more point of failure. KISS. Think of how many people break wheel studs, with adapters you have twice as many, twice the chance of breaking one. If you are changing wheels might as well use one with the right backspacing to put the tire where you want without adapters.

    These are the correct answers, basically a suspension lift has no affect on fitting tires if you use the full range of motion:
