& this my friend is a physical impossibility, we measured out 6.5" more or less to the center/top of main on your stock leafpack, then we measured against the newly rebuilt one & there was a difference of 2.75" For a net of 2.25"-2.50" of lift, remember jake this is an unloaded equation , I'm not going to throw them under a press & give you loaded/compressed numbers..

Your springs were sacked. it just seems like its sky high You ARE 2.5" over STOCK NOT BEAT TO SHIT SPRINGS, if you factor that in, then yeah 3.5" would apply

Yeah we'd be doing all the work ourselves, it doesn't sound as complicated as a SAS

2-2.5'' over stock sounds about right.

Do you happen to know what size brake line wrench i'll need to change that rear brake line?

Interesting, i've never heard of or seen one before.
So why would we chop off the A arm setup for that?

Honestly unless I could get a wrecked 4x4 for cheap I wouldn't go prerunner to stock 4x4. For the price and simplicity you're better off going sas. Trying to make it like a factory 4x4 is going to be a huge headache. you'll have to source, the switches, sensors, computer, etc etc. Just throw an axle with some springs under there, throw a transfer case in with a stick coming through the center console, and have some shafts made. A little work on the steering and you're done.

If (pretty big if) we did it we'd get a rolled or totaled (from the rear or side) 4x4 tacoma to swap the parts over.
He would like to keep the MPG's, and i think a solid axle would put his truck at a height where we would lose more than stock 4x4 (possible with some bilsteins up front)
