If he drives it as hard as you say, I wouldn't want the cvs and ifs. I'd run a SAS. TTB is nice but will require more work and if you want good numbers it won't drive well on the street. He is worried about MPG-really. SAS weight will probably get better with lock outs than turning the cvs Have him drive around with a quad in the back for a tank, problem solved.

Got this in my congressman newsletter.

California Air Resources Board Hits Truckers Hard

My colleague Assemblyman Dan Logue (R-Marysville) and I sent a letter to Governor Brown last month requesting that the California Air Resources Board (CARB) readdress their recently implemented, draconian diesel rules. These costly regulations are severely affecting the agricultural industry and small businesses in my district and throughout the state. If CARB refuses to alter such practices, thousands of trucks will be left unable to operate, preventing farms and other small businesses from transporting their products.

Specifically, the regulations require diesel trucks and buses that operate in California to be upgraded to reduce emissions. All trucks must replace specific filters by January 1, 2015; unfortunately, the more “efficient” filters permitted by CARB do not function properly and are thus having to be replaced far before the advertised mileage rates. In turn, this is costing truckers upwards of thousands of dollars per year. I find it unconscionable that these burdensome regulations are trumping the livelihoods of California families.

Governor Brown recently declared the state is in a dire drought and consequently ordered the waiver or streamlining of a number of environmental laws and other regulations in order to make additional water supplies available and bring new water projects online. I applaud these efforts, but also encourage Governor Brown to waive these onerous diesel regulations. This year’s drought threatens to take a disastrous toll on many of California’s agricultural communities and small businesses, which is the exact community this regulation hurts.

I will continue to fight such outrageous mandates that disproportionately affect the small businesses and farms, which are the backbone of California’s economy.

Yea all of our trucks that don't have the new shit from factory had that shit installed. They are constantly breaking down. Also a few of the units mentioned have already been replaced just as mentioned.

The trucks we shorty enough before and they are just outright dogs with zero power

1.5" Wheel spacers all around, 2.0 fox coil over with foxes in the back to match it up, add a leaf. 285/70/r16 general grabbers. my magnaflow exhaust k&n intake just threw in some maxtrac spindles. Total chaos UPA. Bunch of other little things
Truckers will go on strike and when the country doesn't get the food and drinks and other things that truckers deliver the law will be changed. This deep down is all over money and once they make a couple dollars and ruffle a few feathers they will change it. The main problem like always is we have a third world country living beneath us that will work for pennies and the big wigs love it while Americans hurt like always. This country is so backwards we care more about other country's and people when we sit here and rot away.

Ahaa I see you asked a real question (kinda)

So your talking about a 3.4L engine? what specific RPM? What type of fuel exactly, need specific gravity.

But for a generalized answer it is approximately 8:1 for a gasoline engine.

SO take your bore x stroke for a single cylinder which is .5666cc x 8times for expansion and you have.....

4.53328 (this number down not allow for efficiency loss and would be at 100% BSFC max efficiency, since a good motor is in the 80% range..

Would be closer to 3.626624 ccs in a general ballpark.

Its 100% ACCURATE! :D No BS for real, check my numbers homie!

I build custom turbo setups, I gotta know how to calculate pressure ratios and all that jazz to pick the properly sized turbo, so I know some stuff.;)

I am almost as dumb as I look, but noooot quite, lol.
