Hey guys I am trying to order my suspension but need a few questions answered I don't want to mess this up. I am going with OME Dakars and Icon 2.5 with resi in the rear. The question comes up with the length of the shock. I am being offered a 26 inch or a 28 inch. My understanding the 28 inch will need longer bump stops because of the longer down travel there is less up. I want the best performance and more flex.

Should I go with the 26 inch or 28 inch?
If I go with the 28 inch will the, All Pro Timbren combo u bolt flip bump stop, work to limit the up travel to avoid damage to the shock?

What I do with the truck: daily driver, overland stuff, rock crawling and a little bit of high speed no jumping.

Sounds about right. The longer the shock, the longer the bumper stop has to be. Or self you will bottom out the shock

Does someone make a U-bolt flip kit that works with Wheelers superbumps?

I went with Icon 28 inch 2.0's. HERE is a link to my build page with info and pics you can use.

The allpro u bolt flip kit can be ordered with holes drilled and tapped for timbren bumpstops but if you match drill the Wheeler mount plates they will bolt right up. That is what I did. The only difference was that I drilled and tapped my own holes in the allpro flip plates because the drilled ones were out of stock. Here and HERE are links to the relevant posts in my build thread
