Takes a lot of licensing to own a fully auto weapon... and even then I don't think you can just throw one in your rig and take a pic for fun. I think they have to stay locked down most of the time.

Yes my Ingrahm 11 is semi auto. Its not stamped for the auto as seen on the side. I've looked I to it and would have to have a license to keep it and would have to have one to get it made into a full auto. Its as fast as you pull the trigger. Most macs are full auto. Mine is a Ingrahm 11 from my research.

Doesn't actually take any licensing to OWN a full auto, SBR, SBS, suppressor, or other NFA restricted weapons. All you really need is a trust or person legally allowed to own firearms, $200, and a few months. With the Form 1 and Form 4 eFile, it only takes like 90days.

If you can own a firearm, you can own any NFA weapon...the National Firearms Act really just imposes a $200 "excise tax" on the type of weapons.

The crazy licensing that everyone always refers to is a Special Operational Taxpayer Class 3 (S.O.T. III) license, and only obtained by an FFL

To get a Class 1 SOT status (to import NFA items), an importer FFL is needed, which are FFL Types 8 and 11

To get a Class 2 SOT status (to manufacture NFA items), a manufacturer FFL is needed, which are FFL Types 7 and 10

To get a Class 3 SOT status (to sell and transfer both new and used NFA items), a dealer FFL is needed which are FFL Types 1 and 2

In my opinion full autos are a waste. burst fire is where it's at. if you pump a mag through my AK as fast as you can then slap in my 75 round drum about 10 rounds in it cooks off the entire drum so a total waste.

Burst is a waste of ammo too... chews through 30 round mags way too fast... I prefer semi auto, unless I am shooting big moving targets at over 1500 meters away and literally have 100+ round boxes of belt fed ammo hooked up. Then full auto is very handy!

I used to shoot a 25mm/7.62mm from a Bradley at targets. Semi/full auto is fun to play around with :D

When I deployed, they made the whole Brigade do Gunnery. I was shooting a 50 cal off the top of an uparmored humvee. It was tons of fun, but some of those targets were a bitch. haha I scored like an 850 out of a 1000 overall. Only needed like a 700 to pass IIRC. They gave us 50 rounds per target and told us to expend all ammo on every run. I had enough ammo saved up on one of the run that on the last target I had almost 200 round that we linked all together real quick. I never let off the trigger until it quit shooting. haha Killed the target in the first few rounds and then just mowed down everything around it with what was left. haha It was awesome!! That barrel was fucking hot though!
