    Yeah I have that same feeling also. But hopefully when I get everything in the bed it'll settle. I went with 883s.

    And as for the parts numbers, those are correct :D that's what my leaf has stamped on the top lol

    Edit: any recommended grease for the shackles and bushings before I press them?

    Yeah I saw the pic of your AAL in your leaf pack... and then saw Adam's which has settled obviously. Pretty large difference IMO.

    I'll definitely like to hear what measurements are after you drive it around for awhile, hit Moab, etc.

    As of now I'm pretty set on adding the AAL right off the bat because I'm running my topper 99% of the time.

    I used some kind of moly based susp grease. Seems to work alright. Pretty sure it was mobile 1.

    For the rear, make sure you have stands to secure axle and frame. So they don't shift on you. Also, you can use the factory bottle jack placed between the frame and spring to push the spring down into alignment with shackle.

    I can't remember exactly how but I ended up using the bottle jack for the front too...

    The bottle jack can be placed on the top of the UCA with a 2x4 between the fender and the top of the jack to force the suspension low enough to align with the longer struts.

    I wish i'd've known this when i did my 5100's, I ended up taking a long pry bar and standing on it to force the LCA down enough to put the bolt in.

    You are going to need.some big c clamps for the aal. If someone hasn't mentioned that allready.

    When are you going to put it on. I think I'm only 45 mins from you if you're needing some help.
    I've done a few.
    Did they give you an extr length center pin for the rear springs?

    Haha yeah. It took me probably 20 minutes with a pry bar to figure it out. At one point I even moved the bottle jack over so I could put more weight on the pry bar...:anonymous:

    Haven't heard anything about collars before, so you should be g2g. Also, I did not shim the axle, or cb drop. However I will be ordering a bpv bracket from bamf soon...

    Stuff and things that make it better.
    You will need longer collar pins if you plan on putting shims in, the stock Dakar ones will be too short. Most people don't add the shims until they have driven around for a bit and found they have/don't have vibrations. Adding the longer pins now just saves you a little headache down the road if you decide to add the shims. But with a couple C-clamps the pins come out pretty easy, with no leaf movement.
