How soon do you think you'd wanna buy one? I have a friend that's got one in pretty good shape that will probably let it go cheap if you're interested

Well, unless I find an incredible steal of a Miata, around July is the earliest I'm looking because that's when I find out my financial aid for next semester, and I should have at least $3,000.

If that Miata isn't at least 95% stock, I'm not interested.

Why are specifically looking at miata's? Other than a pretty balanced little sports car what are you wanting it for?

Frank-nice! Can't wait to see the green machine with some new bounce!

    Please do, Travis.

And for the price, and then the price to prep it to track it, it's the best option.

Best handling, cheapest to maintain, RWD, manual, that can be bought. This isn't some whim decision I've made. I've been stewing on it and researching for months. Talked to countless people that have tracked Miatas and other vehicles. Plus, it's the PERFECT compliment to my truck. It really is. The two are similar, but very different. Soon to be lifted Tacoma purposed towards rock-crawling, and a miata to DD prepped to tear up the race track / autocross / put the top down and tear up a mountain road? Perfect combo.

My options boiled down to 944, 240z, Miata, E36.

The first two are hard to find unmolested and aren't that cheap to repair. The E36 just doesn't feel right for me. I've been driving a 328 quite a bit recently and it feels great, but just isn't my cup of tea.

If this test drive goes well today, then I'm all in and full steam ahead searching for one.

Still kinda funny to me that this is EXACTLY the same thing you'd get at Toytec (the coils have Toytec printed on them) for ~$75 less through Headstrong

Damn all of you and your parts, my add a leaf for the dakars is on BO, but I will lend a hand to whomever wants the help!

Reminds me, Travis, what bumpstops do you have on the flip kit? I have existing superbumps from wheelers that obviously aren't made to bolt on there like the timbrens, and I'm not paying that kinda moneys for bumps. I am thinking about just welding the superbumps to the flip kit plate.....yes?

I'd have to agree with Brandon on that one shouldn't be too hard.
Let me know when I can get those front. 5100's.
