Also got into a little stick situation...was trying to read a trail sign and didn't notice the 5 foot washout on the passenger side...fell into it at under 10mph, but it bent the HELL out of my Method Double Standard, popped the bead, and left me dangling my jimmies for the world to see! Oddly enough, the truck rolled out of that in reverse without lockers

We got the spare switched out no problem and were back on the trail in 30 min...after a beer. My hi-lift was having issues so I left it at home. 2 bottle jacks did the job.

This is by far my best ever what have you done to your Tacoma Day!

    Started like this:20140429_165055_resized_1_c8ba658b80d8924439fbb542bea40773a4b602d0.jpg

Then I put on Coilovers and a new UCA:20140503_122430_resized_c16054813d185df3a96e3389280f50784b176047.jpg

Then I had to do a little grinding:
    20140503_125809_resized_2b25a0e46be24c9ef015f797ff226f9c2340e5df.jpg

    To get these to fit:

Then I added a 2" Block in the rear (forgot to take a picture) and got new tires put on:

    20140503_170253_resized_1_336ba8dfebd13e60a28ffeb25aa55e1cabfce4fa.jpg

    Then took the wife wheeling:
    20140503_183915_resized_6eeac9b18a64ea440ca67da7364b0b591d560939.jpg

And drove over some beaver ponds with a bud:

    And drank some beer!

Sorry. To get to the fogs either pop the button out or remove the upper dash piece

What did you have to cut/grind to fit your shocks?

The bracket where the lower mount of the shock sits and is bolted on. The king shock has a wider lower mount body than the original and the bolt would not line up. I had to take not quiet an 1/8" off the inside of that bracket to get the new shock to line up and get the lower mounting bolt through.

The lower shock mount. Most aftermarket shocks wont drop in. Too late now, but take a bolt with two nuts and use it as a jacking bolt to open it up a bit. Preferably fine thread, and use anti seize. You have to hold the head to keep it from spinning. If you open it up too much, it'll close back down when you tighten up the shock bolt.

I didn't have to widen the bracket, I had to grind where the arrows are pointing...This was making the lower mount stick out and not line up. Thanks for the picture!

Ahh... Got it. My fox shocks were pretty close as well as the icons I helped install, but not touching. I guess kings are beefier :D

Took off the All-Pro light hoop for repaint. Sanded it down to remove loose powdercoat and sprayed it with Rust-Oleum Hammered black paint.
