OK so I guess that means the top fitting goes to the fixed end of the ram. My ram will be mounted just like yours with the fixed end on the passenger side.

Yes, if your's is mounted like mine that is correct.

Well no pics but I got the spare rim converted to beadlock. Ordered the rings from Chassis Unlimited and welded it and the anti-cone ring last night and painted them. Spare tire should arrive at Fastenal today so I can get it mounted up tonight. Only a few odds and ends left before wheeling this weekend :D

    To-do (in order of priority):

    1. Move battery so spare fits in bed (#4Dproblems):D
    2. Mount license plate
    3. Install new rear driveshaft (freshly balanced, old one will be used for trails now)
    4. Add AUX port to stock radio
    5. Add in-cab AC outlet to stock inverter

Not dented, but has a questionable u-joint cap on one of the DC u-joints. Plus when driving 500 miles each way to wheel, its nice peace of mind knowing I will have a freshly balanced shaft for the way home, should something happen.

As usual got thrown a curveball. Spare tire still hasn't been delivered. Was supposed to be in on Tuesday. Some other stuff came up but I did get the aux port added to the radio. What a PITA.

I used a 5 pin stereo jack to automatically disconnect the input from the CD player, so it would have been easier had I gone the easy route. Followed the information here:

Mark I'm surprised you still use the stock headunit. I was extremely unimpressed with mine so that was one of the first things I replaced. Could've had the aux port, Bluetooth, cd, am/fm, pandora compatible and done in less time than adding the aux port.

    Me too! :D

I really don't much care about tunes. Just something to fill the silence so the stock radio does the trick for me.

Well got her out and stretched her legs a bit this weekend. Attended the 9th Annual Southern Shine Crawl at Black Mountains Off Road Park in Harlan, KY.

Just a tad over 480 miles each way, plus wheeling. Truck did amazing, both on and off road. Ran 70mph most of the way there, and 75 on the way back. Averaged 13.4 mpg at 72 mph with the AC on

A couple pics, but I am sure more will come up soon.

We left early Friday afternoon at went most of the way, staying the night in Corbin, KY.

Ended up changing a broken motor mount at camp on the white 4runner Saturday night, what a PITA. Only breakage all weekend.

Pure awesome. They ran smooth on the street and hooked up great on the trails. It finally dry out there this trip too so the crawlbox got a good workout as well. Everything worked flawlessly.

The only thing I did differently this time was to bring a trail driveshaft and a street driveshaft, just in case. When I swapped back for the trip home, there wasn't even a mark on the "trail" shaft. Better safe than sorry!

Made the obligatory "Edinburgh Premium Outlets" shopping stop on the way home too for the wife. :D

And yes...there is/was shine at the shine crawl! :D

Dude! Looks like it's working great! I was in Slade KY a few weeks ago (5/16 - 5/17) climbing at the Red Rive Gorge and saw a bunch of gnarly off roaders! Though judging by the dates of your posts you weren't there. Sad. Looks like some sweet off-roading and make me wish I had brought my truck instead of flying there.
