I sheered off my driver side tabs a long time ago when I hit something in the road and it knocked my alignment off. Thanks for the link

    crap bolted and welded together....

well, they were my original pick. I then came across the SCSPreformance wheels, and fell in love with all of them. Even the new ones coming out at the end of june.

I'm either going bronze or gunmetal. Bronze is different, but so many people on TW have bronze. So i havent decided yet.

They're just replacing the boot. I did require the same boot be sourced from the original axle builder. Should be here Tuesday.

Until then I'll just make my wheel well a nice greasy mess:rolleyes:

Nice upgrade that's for sure and I'd be surprised if you'd ever have a problem with these ones. They're stout!:D

this about a 4.0 BS wheel? 17X9 6-139.7-12 I assume -12mm will push the wheel out about 1/2'' more fender side over stock.

Anyone dealt with Zoom Motorsports here in Roseburg ? They did a good job, but didn't like their customer service. Simply asked why they had to cut out the stock grill (because really, I just didn't know) and the guy got super defensive.

They cut it out because they couldn't find the stock attachment points with their eyes shut maybe. Maybe turning tools isn't for you, but if you have any mods, find or ask for a mod meet and install them yourself with the help of others. Your truck will mean more to you when you do the stuff yourself then if you pay others to do it. You can also score beer from other people to try new things (besides Corona ;)).

Yeah, that's a good idea. But I don't have any fellow taco friends/owners that are local.

Next time you have something to mod that you aren't sure quite how, put up here that you are looking for help or a mod day. I am sure you can find some people that are happy to help, but it may mean driving to them. You also make more friends that way too.

I think to install the RI grills that use to Black Diamond Grills you have to cut the stock out. I dont think they were designed to fit over the stock grills

Here's the CMC I had welded up. I think they did a nice job at ACRO if anyone needs it done.

    Hey guys and gals,
Looks like I am heading to the Olympic Park and Ozette Lake for a RTT/Camping shakedown run, kayaking, hiking and some off road exploring.
Any road/trail recommendations for a pretty much stock 2nd gen 4x4?
Not looking for extreme as no lift, armor or winch yet.
Any recommendations for isolated RTT camping?
    Thank you,

    Steve

This isn't a unicorn. Unicorns have a horn on their forehead. It is just a gay white horse.
