Yeah the 70 come from the factory 35 spline as far as I know. The housing on a 70 is a little beefier than the 63's as well. If you can get a 70 cheaper I'd go that way. All you have to do to it us regear and a locker of some sorts. As far as a dually 70 they should all be drw axles. They are a few different width I think but they are all pretty damn wide. You have to look over in pirate there should be a whole list of info on all the different combos.

Eh someone in the SAS suspension section convinced me to just stick w/ d60's like i originally wanted. Unfortunately I had my eye on this one on craigslist and it got snatched last night.. already had the 1/4" thick ballistic fab diff cover and Disc brake mounts for just 100$.. ahh well can't win them all.

Edit: only thing I'm still not 100% sure about is wether i should get a diff w/ a 4.56 carrier or 4.10. It seems like the 4.10's are a lot more common but if i want to put in some 5.89's or 5.29's then i would have to use spacers on the gears which might not be the worst thing.

hmm.. not sure if I'm even going to bother checking these out.

Once I had all my lights but headlights go out on a drive back from running a mining trail. I also couldnt get my transmission out of park unless I hit the little button in front of the shifter. Ended up being a blown fuse under the driver side kick panel I believe. 10A or so. Still have no clue why it happened and it hasn't happened since.

swapped out my warn solenoid box for a super winch DC contractor. Main reason was that the super winch part is 1/3 the size of that huge warn controller. Much easy to fit in the bay.

    See the write up here:
    http://www.fjcruiserforums.com/forums/4x4-off-road-tech/130031-warn-winch-upgrade.html

Was super easy. I blew thru it so I have a winch for some wheelin over the weekend. Need to go back and clean up the wires a bit and add an in cab control.

So I got my bumper off. Now how the hell do I remove the factory steel bar that's behind it? Is it just held on by the two bolts on each side that mount the factory tow hooks? IF so it's rusted as hell where it slides into the end of the frame. I have it soakin in PB blaster now.

False alarm. I forgot to use my eyeballs and missed the 4 bolts somehow.

Well does your life also strip the heads off two of the four bolts? Cuz I just did. Not sure how to proceed. Instructions unclear.

Welp, these bolts are so rusted the steel is soft as butter. Even with bolt extractors it just strips. So in the mean time I decided to take pics of the bumper since I only had one.

Try penetrant, heat, and vice grips. If you have a friend with a welder you can weld a new head on. Possibly cut them off. Last resort easy out' they're usually useless but worth a try.
