No worries. Anyone else interested in it?

On a side note, I've been at the Toyota waiting for an oil change...for 2 HOURS!

I'm leaving for NJ after this...and I deliberately made a 7:40 appointment so I'd be on the road early...so much for that.

Mine is pretty good. No noticeable vibes and it's fine on the highway.

Damn..... Went to drain the oil on the tractor... Got the oil out and went looking for the John Deere tune up kit....

I found the box, but it was filled with sprinkler parts and hose valves... Wtf!?

So somewhere on your property your dad's got a John Deere oil filter jammed onto a sprinkler fitting...

    Oi.
Went and picked up a 275 gallon oil tank today after work (for free in the Uncle Henry's). Advertised as an empty vertical tank; turned out to be a horizontal tank with close to 20 gallons of K1 still sloshing around in the bottom. Oh, and the legs were rusted on, so I couldn't take them off so it was a flat surface to skid up the ramps.
Not only were my ramps and dolly useless, but it weighed an extra 120lbs or so. And it was me and my girlfriend and the two overweight elderly people who were giving it away to load it. I probably should have called it a night and come back with help, but I was too stubborn.
The GF helped me tip it up on one end, and I backed the truck over and dropped the tailgate. Then I leaned the top side of the tank against the tailgate and deadlifted the bottom of the tank up until it was level with the truck and had her pull while I pushed to slide the tank into the bed, and the old man yelled at me to be careful and the old woman held her hands over her face and peeked through her fingers at the whole spectacle.
Fortunately I didn't hurt anything or pull anything or break anything at the time, but my arms and my legs are starting to stiffen up now. Stupid.

On a positive note, unloading it went a lot easier than loading it. I just drove the tractor over, ran a chain around it, and lifted it out.

you could've done some damage there, had to take out a oil tank from a basement for work, it took 4 guys to deadlift it from the basement up to the ground about 8 feet up, my coworker fucked up his back really bad, after that my boss said no more oil job for houses

Yeah, it was dumb. I was lucky, though. Nothing sore or stiff this morning, fortunately. Next time I'll call for backup or call it off.

Summer Dunlops are back on as of this morning, and the truck looks like a mall crawler again. Oh well. The increased MPG's are worth it, I guess.

Here it a pic of John's support he gave me. I am thinking about cutting a section out for my standoffs on the new skid. Any concerns?zadebu6a_f147014c8b10c52e014c881d88f16b82538351b8.jpg
