Cars with green caps on the valve stems have nitrogen in them. It said to be more stable with temp changes.

That's all I have been running in my tires since 2008. I check my pressure about every 6 mo or so & it's never been less than 1-2 lbs from what I inflate to. There's other advantages too like not rotting the tires from the inside, better heat dissipation at highway speeds, consistent gas mileage, even tread wear (because the pressure doesn't change)

 

So do you air down when off roading? Do you have a nitrogen tank with you to refill them?

 

Did you pull a vacuum on the mounted tires to purge all the atmosphere before filling with nitrogen? Or did you just slightly increase the percentage of nitrogen in your tires?

 

Ostrichsak and myself have done them.
RedlineTuning.com they have 3 different levels of the kit you can get. I went the less rout he went the more. I love what I got and so does he. I don't really know what the difference between the kits is besides the price and color of the lift struts.

 

There is no need to pull a vacuum with nitrogen. Nitrogen is not affected as much as oxygen is with temperature change. That's why they use in aircraft tires, because when the aircraft is much higher in the air, if they are filled with just regular compressed air they will actually freeze over or burst the tires and cause a major malfunction upon landing
