Should be here Friday. Truck should be here in two weeks.

Where are these rims physically manufactured?

They look great on your truck; can't wait to see them on mine!

Yes it does:cool:. In the truck world, it's a pretty unique finish to have.

No worries Scott, I completely understand the wait issue. There are quite a few people on the waiting list that's in the same boat. I wish I could have helped somehow, but there's always next time.

This is a great idea for those that are in need to tires asap. Craigslist and TW's classified section is your friend:D.

That's so awesome that you're buying new wheels before your truck even arrives:thumbsup:. Your Stealth 6 wheels were made in Taiwan.

Note: make sure the center caps goes on the wheels before the wheels/tires are mounted onto the truck. This allows the cap the seat fully flush. The front dust cap can get in the way if you snap them on afterwards.

Haha, yeah, I might have gotten a little excited and went crazy ordering crap. There will be quite the parade of FedEx and UPS deliveries to my house over the next couple weeks. And thanks for the tip on the center caps. I'll send you some pics once I get everything put together.

I've got the whites out now, pain in the butt to keep clean, but I see what your saying too. That said, putting on new rubber next week and I'm going black wall out, no matter what kind I end up with. In all fairness the wheels stand out plenty, its the lighting in photography that doesn't catch all the details we see in person.

Yes! Just photoshop white letters when you post pics of it
But really it is hard to capture ALL the beauty of your truck being all black, but I like it and if I ever get black wheels I'll be black walls out too.

It's been about a year and a half that I've had these Stealth 6's on my truck. Have been talking with Vin about a blem spare. He didn't have exactly what I was looking for, but gave me a great deal on a dinged up, slightly, wheel, Black with machined edge.
I think I'm going to like the spare color more.
Any guru's want to tell me how to paint these clear coated wheels the right way... at home, in my garage.
My be Vin will post a pic on here for us to see.

I did the same as you; picked up a slightly blemished rim.

I used some Rustoleum Metallic paint/primer in one. I sprayed the stuff into a cup then used and a paint brush to paint.

Unless you really know where to look, it's difficult to tell the rim has been painted.

What about using some sort of circle cutout of cardboard, etc to block off the spoke part and spray the lip and inside edge? Just run a nice strip of painters tape for a clean edge in case of over spray getting under the circle cutout.

Maybe this can give you an idea of what's involved.

That might work. For me, the paintbrush was the easiest and best way.

PM'd about a set in gunmetal! I know I'm willing to wait! I appreciate that Vin doesn't try to find somewhere cheap to make these and risk a sub par quality product. Anxious for the day I have a set of these on my truck!
