    follow this step by step. not really much your can fuck up. only thing i can think of that you wanna make sure of is when you go to re-seal them, to make sure you get a good seal so they dont leak

    once I painted to reseal them I put them back in the oven for the same amount of time ( no screws) and then pressed together with clamps while I screwed it together.. I only used the factory sealant.. reuse as much of it as you can and you won't have any problems.. the sealant cools and hardens fairly quickly so don't have to keep it clamped but for a few hours after...can easily do it in a day or 2..
