Built for maximum low end torque, tooter II.VII intake manifold spacer, LCE long tube header, Injen long tube intake, 2,900 rpm torque peak.
This is just a test to see if there is any more interest in the tooter II.VII intake manifold spacers for the 2TR FE. It will help me to determine whether or not any more will be made. If you add your name to the list it's not a commitment to buy, just an expression of your interest.

It can be 2 inches thick because the 2.7 engine has enough room on the side to allow for a really thick spacer for the most effect on low end torque.

These are the dyno test results. The torque peak is reached 250 rpm sooner, and the torque curve is fattened up in a couple of places.

The kit is $255 including free domestic US shipping.

Ok. I'll start the list now. From the last list I found that about half decided to buy the spacers so this helps me to plan the production run.

    Greg,

I've been reading your posts about this and am really interested, but have a couple of questions. I own a 2014 base 4x4 and love it. But 80% of my driving is highway miles at 70-75 miles an hour with my RPMs around 2500-2750. I know you've stated that your spacer mainly helps with low end tourqe, but if it would lower the power band wouldn't help with lowering my RPMs on the highway miles? If so wouldn't it help slightly with gas milage?

Hope these questions make sense. Thanks

OK, I'll take silence as a "yes, that was a poor question". ;-) I re-read many posts and took another look at the Dyno chart comparison from another thread and think I've answered my own question. At 75 mph my stock truck is around 2500+ RPM's, with the addition of an LCE Header and the Tooter Intake Spacer the same speed could be attained but at a lower RPM due to the increase in HP production. Thus leading to a small gain in fuel ecomony at that speed. I know that individual users will experiance different results... yada yada. My confusion was the statement that these mod's produce low end results while sacrificing the upper end. I was thinking that 3,000 was on the upper end (which is true for my driving style, not the truck's ability). Ok, so how'd I do? Am I grasping the concepts, or is it back to school....

Sorry, man... I haven't been keeping track of this thread.

It would offer more torque at lower rpms, but it will not change the rpms your truck runs at. That would require either a gearing change or wheels and tires of a different diameter.

Greg, what kind of influence does your spacer have on an otherwise stock 2.7, no intake or exhaust mods?

I know you have headers and exhaust, not sure which dyno sheet you've posted here if it's with those parts, other parts, or stock.

    Sure. :)

The only difference would be the additional actual shipping cost to Guam minus $12.35 domestic shipping cost already figured into the $255 price.

That's the reason I made all of the dyno runs with only one change at a time, so it's easy to extrapolate the results for each component, and apply it to whatever you have now.

Just the spacer alone on a bone stock engine still lowers the torque peak by 250 rpms while fattening up the curve in a few places.
