    well 30 bucks for a basic soldering kit from radioshack, an hour (if that) on youtube on how to solder, and some spare wire (of any type) to practice on will have you doing it well enough to change em out yourself :)

    Its how i did it with my stereo. Had learn and it really is pretty easy to just solder two wires together.
