    I like this thread.
after doing a ton of reading, I think I will end up just getting 265/75R16 tires and remain stock. I'm more for function than looks.

It didn't roll that way long...there was no issues with it, but I have an Ironman lift on it now.
The stock suspension rates are optimal, and the rear springs in particular are junk if you want to carry anything at all.

I took a few pics of mine while out looking at property today...climbed a canal to get some stock flex shots. Mine is a 06 DCSB TRD OR with 265/75R16 Cooper ATP's. Completely stock suspension with 84k miles. I did remove the flaps front and back but was not having trouble rubbing before. I still plan to lift the front 1 1/2-2" because I like it level but I am happy with the tires and the way they fit stock.

your truck is trd off road 4x4 right? I can't tell since there are no rear flaps, but I don't see a pre-runner badge on the tailgate. just want to confirm in case you removed them, as my truck would be closest to yours and also plan to get the cooper atp. thanks.

    great thanks. looks great.
man the price of the set of cooper atp seems to go up everytime I look at them. I only checked americastires since they are local and it now costs $678 for a set installed.

I paid more than that in January but tire prices seem to differ quite a bit depending on location. I will say I have been very happy with them this far but I only have about 5k on them. Good luck!

I see there are two types of cooper ATP. SL load rating and E1 load rating. The E1 total cost per set is $808. Perhaps you got the E1 load rating set?

The E rated tires are heavier and will reduce gas mileage. I don't tow anything really heavy so I was planning on getting just the SL rated set.

I got the SL...but I got them through Discount and bought certificates so I am thinking that is what made up the difference

Nice trucks. Couple of questions for those of you with more knowledge than me.

How much lift are you getting with different sizes such as 70/16, 75/16, 70/17, and 75/17. Also when off roading do they rub when going up or down in the wheel well?

    Thanks
